If I ever find myself in that area again I will definitely book here again

Pro: This place is extraordinary. Cozy, classic interior. Classical music plays in the living room. My double room was enormous, with an extra workspace and a large balcony. The village is small and quiet. Parking is easy.

Grand house with comforts and great breakfast.

Pro: We had a delightful stay at Villa Gildanna2. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the house is grand and beautiful. Breakfast was ample for the day’s walk ahead. We only stayed the one night as we were walking the Via Francigena which meant we really didn’t get time to appreciate the garden or relax in the sitting room. Franzisca and Yari were wonderful hosts who were happy to help us and were very generous.

Contro: A pricey overnight stay for walkers doing the Via Francigena.

Pro: Sur le cemin de la Via Francigena, magnifique demeure bourgeoise du 19e s., agencée avec goût. Les hôtes sont prévenants. Le dîner proposé en sus d'excellente qualité. Je recommande vivement.

Pro: Très belle demeure avec de beaux meubles et de beaux plafonds peints. Salle de bain magnifique et immense avec douche et baignoire. Petit déjeuner copieux. La propriétaire très souriante et accueillante.

Pro: This was fantastic! It’s a house going back to the 1850s and you can feel the history as well as having a lot of comfort. I came here while walking the Via Francigena and needed something extra nice. It couldn’t have been better! While this is outside a “pilgrim’s budget”, if you want to treat yourself, you can’t do any better than stay here

La vie de château le temps d'une nuit...

Pro: Un accueil chaleureux et personnalisé. Nos hôtes prennent encore le temps de parler avec leurs invités et sont aux petits soins du début à la fin du séjour. Ensuite il y a le décor inattendu de cette maison de maître, avec de très grandes pièces, beaucoup de marbre et l'ambiance particulière des grandes demeures d'autrefois. Une parenthèse plus que sympathique, directement sur la Via francigena.
