Pro: Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno splendido in questa struttura nuova, curata nei minimi dettagli e immersa in un contesto incantevole. Fin dal nostro arrivo ci siamo sentiti accolti e assistiti , anche per il nostro cane ,con grande attenzione: tutto il personale si è dimostrato sempre disponibile, aiutandoci con la prenotazione dei ristoranti e suggerendoci esperienze locali autentiche che hanno arricchito ulteriormente la nostra permanenza. Gli spazi comuni e le camere sono tenuti in modo impeccabile, con un equilibrio perfetto tra charme storico e comfort contemporaneo. La colazione è stata un vero piacere, ricca, variegata e con prodotti di qualità.

Really felt home, enjoyed every minute!

Pro: It was a wonderful luxury hotel in all aspects: beautiful spotless room (got even an upgrade for a longer stay) with daily free water and a turndown service. Very warm welcome by the friendly staff from reception to swimming pool and restaurant... A beautiful setting and a perfect big swimming pool with a relax garden where you can take a light lunch/bar. More than enough sunbeds and each set has its own umbrella! A very fine dining restaurant with beautiful view. We certainly come back.

Beautiful 5-star stay at picturesque hotel.

Pro: Room very spacious, front desk staff courteous, helpful, and welcoming. Beautiful grounds with thoughtful amenities. Strong WiFi in the room.

Contro: Restaurant staff were a bit stern, language barrier with some of the folks who took our orders causing mishaps with food selection/quantity. Pool usage is seasonal.

Classic domaine excellent when the weather is nice

Lovely hotel, missing important five star touches

Pro: Beautiful property in stunning hillside location. Elegant and spacious buildings. Family room was comfortable and attractively restored. Very quiet, only birdsong - so relaxing. Reception staff were excellent, obliging and attentive. Lunch in restaurant was delicious, haute cuisine style. Small portions but that suited us.

Contro: Breakfast was very average, limited selection of buffet, not high end standards. I’ve had better breakfast at 3 star b&bs. No fresh juice. In fact no juice at all! When I asked for 2 poached eggs on toast I was told this was not possible! I could only have one! Service on Monday morning was really shambolic. Had to ask for salt & pepper 3 times (single poached egg was cold by this time!). Had to ask for milk for tea. Everything was so slow - at least we enjoyed a laugh with the couple at next table who were also experiencing poor service. No milk in rooms for tea or coffee - you have to ask reception who then had to ask kitchen. No room service or light meals. No food offerings at all apart from sit down meals in Michelin style restaurant. Even this was closed on a Monday so you would starve if you didn’t have a car because nearest village is 10 mins away! So don’t go by taxi on a Sunday/ Monday… In general this hotel feels style over substance. Creature comforts like fruit, milk, USB port, teapot, welcome treat not offered in rooms. No turn down device first night. Tea bags not replaced by room service on day 2. Lack of attention to detail. It is beautiful but just a bit slack on the luxury side - felt like end-of-season complacency. Nothing to make you really feel special or as though you were having a five star experience, such as welcome drink or other little moments which make guests feel special. Shame. Could easily be improved.

Pro: The staff were very welcoming. Excellent breakfast.

Contro: Area not so interesting

Pro: Lovely pool. Great rooms, very comfortable. Beautiful surroundings.

Contro: Could certainly do with more food options in the evening rather than just 'fine dining'.

Overall a great place to stay

Pro: The location and property were great and staff very helpful and accomodating. The local cheese making tour and on site vinegar tour and tasting is a must do. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away in the heart of Reggio Emilia Italy this is the place to stay.

Contro: Air Conditioning and TV connection to WiFi did not function in our initial booked room making the stay uncomfortable, however, the staff were able to move us to an upgraded suit in which the A/C and TV worked.

Pro: The staff is friendly and helpfull, the swimming pool is perfect for real swimmer and its area is very nice. The rooms are big, the whole property is beautiful and the restaurant very nice. The decoration of all the areas is at the same time modern and warm. It's a perfect place to chill.

Contro: The breakfast is under the quality of the rest.

A wonderful place

Pro: The Staff were fabulous. Pool amazing. Room perfect size.

Contro: I thought the rooms were a bit sparse. They could have done with a few pictures on the walls as it was a bit clinical. Also a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Unfortunately there was a problem with the water on the last night and there wasn't any or the following morning!
